He originated a movement that is galvanizing voters to the ballot box, and other candidates are simply hanging onto his coat-tails one way or the other! Problem is leadership is not about following what works, it's about originating it and putting it into action--that is what tells the tale.

1. I know...
a while back, the only two candidates talking about changing Washington were Edwards and Obama. Now everybody, including (laughably) the Republicans are jumping on the change bandwagon.

2. All of the candidates were talking about change since day one.
Hillary talks about how she fought for it via healthcare, Dennis talks about the many things he would like to change. Biden talked about changing to better foreign policy etc. The difference is that Obama symbolically represents change, as he has spent very little time actually working in DC and is percieved as an outsider. This contrasted to Hillary, who symbolically represents the continuation of what seems like a dynasty. By being another "repeating name". Images are very much at play here.

3. You misdefine leadership
Invention is originating what works. Leadership is inspiring others to go in a particular direction, whether or not the leader originally conceived that method of approach.

My guy and your guy have some seriously different views on what will work, and what will not. So I really don't get the point of your post.

4. And the movement stands for...Oh, I know. Change.
Ever see the play Rhinoceros by Ionescu? I heartily recommend it.

5. You'll understand better one day......
sometimes certain concepts are hard for folks to totally comprehend till a picture is drawn for them. And sometimes, that doesn't even help.
