How do you feel about the economic stimulus that Obama proposed?
Is that the $500 payoff Bush was talking about yesterday?

1. I'm sure the $500.00 will fix everything.
Exactly WHY I'm voting for Edwards.

4. The way I read it
Bush is trying to stave off the recession until the Dems take over.

7. Yep. The sky IS going to fall.
And the only way we've ever dug out is by government-created jobs. We can't dig out with a world war because we have no factories hear to gear up for war. No innovation because it's been deliberately stifled for seven years.

We might want to look at a federal energy and green program: something that would bring solar energy even to non-middle class homes. Tree planting, experimental farms with new crops for changed climates...

5. Will it be charged against taxes like Bush's was?
Did he say anything about creating JOBS? You know, something that would NOT be a one off?
