Edwards pretty clearly won the debate.
The big losers being Hillary, and to a lesser extent Richardson. Obama did well, and came off really presidential, but Edwards clearly did the best. If he's lucky, he may have just mortally wounded Hillary, and made it a two person race.

8. I'm sure Richardson is competant, but he's not a very good orator
He tends to repeat the same handful of talking points over and over, and it makes him come off as mindless.

3. Please come back when you can conduct a cogent conversation.
Or just when you stop thinking that Hillary Clinton walks on water.

This debate was bad for her, and in no way helped dig her out of the hole she's in. I think it's over for her.

suppose to do. Not mess up. He looked very presidential. Hilary acted like the same old Washington politics. Attacking and bickering.

17. Since it's impossible for you to resist initiating feeble personal attacks
then maybe you shouldn't post ridiculous threads claiming that YOUR candidate won, as if it's fact.

I'm sure Google can find you the location of a nearby mental health clinic

If I want to find that nearby mental clinic you speak of, you'll be the first person I ask for directions.

It's called a joke, and Edwards isn't "my candidate."
It is, however, pretty clear that he won. You should examine your own preconceptions.

14. Chuck Todd of MSNBC whose wife works for HRC.....
He's a key member of the media establishment which will create the narrative coming out of this debate is posting swooning post after swooning post about HRC on MSNBC.Com's first read. The media spin will be "Hillary, in strong debate performance, regains her footing and become New Hampshire's 2nd comeback kid. She showed her experience tonight and fought back when all was on the line."

I swear that is what the media will say whether it's true or not. Just look at Chuck Todd's comments and it's clear.

Obama closed well, and came off as presidential. But Edwards put in more energy, and took a chunk out of Hillary, tagging her with being a status quo politician.

20. George Stephanopoulos (sp) just said that Edwards looked the least tired.
Frankly, I want a president with great stamina--the job just takes it out of them. I don't want someone who can't pull all-nighters.

Hillary, in particular, looks like she's out of gas. Then again, when you're older the fatigue shows more easily. I should know.

25. it was a great forum for JE. That was the best debate of them all. Even if KO
wasn't there.

Maybe MSNBC will have one and leave Richardson at home. That would be awesome.

26. Obama may have lost
but mostly because expectation have been soaring so high for him. Debates proformances to lend themselves well to words like inspiring.

Clinton was off her game early on but held her own. At the end I would not discribe her campaign as desperate.

Edwards did great. He shines in this format. Made a good case that he is still in this race.

Richardson.... not terrible but not a preformance that makes him relevant in NH.

Of course the MSM will likely spin it that the republican won both the debates.

Not a home run performance, but it didn't have to be. Riding high on Iowa, he just needed to do well, and not make any mistakes.

32. With all the buzz
since Iowa for Obama -buzz not hype- I think for the casual view the bar was set pretty high. If this debate had been last week I would have scored it differently.

I don't think he did poorly in the debate, just not up to the standard of his stump speeches.
