If you were an average Republican--
and thank goodness you're not!--which would you be most inclined to vote for?

Mind you, I'm describing candidates as the average Repub might think of them.

A southern baptist minister?
A slick, corporate Mormon?
The former mayor of the 2nd largest US city, with scurrilous ties and spin on just about everything?
A former actor?
A liberatarian?
A Vietnam vet presidential wannabee?
Whoever the Dems throw at you?

Tell me Ronald Reagan is behind that door ;-)

Seriously though, Fred was a politician/ politico long before he went into acting. The man was Nixon's helper to "investigate" watergate

3. OT, but ever see Brewsters Millions?
Monty Brewster (Richard Pryor) ran "None of the Above" for NY mayor, and won over the R and D candidates, who actually were both taking money from the same corporate backers (he wasn't running himself, only trying to force a re-election untouched by special interests). If you haven't seen it, it's quite funny.
