SLOW Down Folks New Poll Statistical DEAD HEAT in Iowa!
I am SOOO SICK OF THE MSM PROPAGANDA! :wtf: :wtf: :nuke:

Political Wire: Exclusive look at new Iowa poll

New Poll: Still a Toss Up in Iowa

Political Wire got an advance look at a new Strategic Vision poll in Iowa that shows Sen. Barack Obama leading the Democratic presidential race with 32% support, followed by John Edwards at 29% and Sen. Hillary Clinton at 27%.

On the Republican side, Mitt Romney leads with 30%, followed by Mike Huckabee at 28%; Sen. John McCain at 16% and Fred Thompson at 13%.

Like other polls we've seen in the last week, both races are essentially statistical ties.

Also check out: Making Sense of the Iowa Polls

Of Course after allll the hype when Edwards WINS Iowa according to the pundits... It won't matter... Once again... :wtf: We have lost our country to the "CORPORATISTS" :nuke:

5. Why don't you say that Hil and Edwards are in a "statistical heat"
Edited on Tue Jan-01-08 11:33 PM by antiimperialist
If the OP said the Obama and Edwards are in a statistical heat, why don't we say that Edwards and Hillary are in a statistical heat, since only 2% separate them?

8. Why would I say that? The way I see it, Obama is in the lead and Edwards is second.
Hillary is bringing up the rear.

9. No...if she drops IA, she cans till take NH and be the front runner nationally..
Obama needs 2 of IA, NH, and SC to stay alive I think...

10. That's what I'm saying, I think when she loses Iowa...
the conversation is going to turn towards a Obama v. Edwards matchup, allowing her already weak poll numbers in NH to continue to fall.

11. If Obama wins IA, and the continues his rise in NH, HRC is done.
I dont see her losing those and having SC as a firewall. If Obama wins in IA and NH, the African American votes will start to believe and it could get very exciting!

19. Must agree with you on this one. National polls are going on
name rec only at this point. Once the other two get the press they deserve, people will be relieved and anxious to take a look at two fresh faces, comparatively :-)

21. I have to disagree
With her poll numbers suffering in NH and SC, if she loses Iowa the winds are going to have shifted.

Happy New Year Emily. I liked your falcons avatar better. Are you in GA?

15. If Hillary comes in third, she's all but done? ....I don't think so.
A couple of things:

If the percentages are close that means the delegates are evenly divided so nobody really wins or loses....and...

if people quit listening to and believing the MSM pundit bullshit that wants to perpetuate the Iowa and New Hampshire misguided irrelevancies in these national but tortured primaries...and instead look to the quasi-national primary day - Feb 5, and those just before and those that follow.

......then Clinton's unyielding prominence in the national polls will win her the well deserved nomination that the majority of the Democrats in this country want her to have.

16. God Help Us All...
The Repubs will beat her handily and in the unlikely circumstance that she were to win... What is it that WE will have won? Zilch, Zero, Nada... $ more years of Corporatism further entrenched and solidified by someone who has been characterized commonly as Bush w/ a skirt. Not my idea of a win... Lets hope the people of Iowa have some sense. :)
