Clinton calls for 'independent, international investigation' of Bhutto's death

There should be an "independent, international investigation" into the assassination of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told CNN today.

The news network just broadcast part of an interview with Clinton that will be played in full later today on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

She said the investigation should be as credible as the U.N.-led probe into the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri.

The only candidate with the presence of mind of the three frontrunners, is Hillary. I have to mention, Biden showed great dignity and statesman like quality in his press release for Bhutto.
