You guys are overanalyzing this event.

Will people begin to believe that extremists are capable of committing heinous crimes now that Bhutto died? NO! Everybody knows that already. The Taliban, or Al Qaeda, whoever was responsible for this murder, brought down the Twin Towers and decapitated people in Iraq. Whoever voters believe is the best choice to handle foreign affairs will remain their favorite. Health Care and Iraq are the most pressing issues, not the situation in Pakistan.
And how many people do you think even knew that Bezamir Bhutto existed until today?
Are you all aspiring pundits or something?

Your overraction gets nauseating sometimes.

3. Yep, and I agree with you
This isnt like an Osama bin Laden tape coming out. Everybody knows who he is. The only reason I know about Bhutto is because she came back to Pakistan a couple months ago.

5. Your saying that 19 guys from a cave in the desert brought down
two of our most important buildings by overtaking planes full of people with only razor blades as weapons?

6. the only thing politically that i thought during this is that it's important...
we have a president that give us a better reputation in places like Pakistan. They reported that only 15% in PAK view the U.S. as favorable, and i thought its so important to have one of the democratic nominees win. We must get out of Iraq, we must make huge diplomatic efforts in and around the middle east. If we want to work with nations in trouble, it's going to be very important that we practice what we preach. So if anything it made me think how important it is that we put one of our guys in there.

7. I suspect there may be people
who are solidly straddling the middle of the fence who may be affected -- one way or the other -- by what a candidate says and how his or her spokespeople respond during a time like this.

Everything this close to a Primary (or Caucus) makes an impression because many may now be seriously tuning in for the first time, especially with a news story of such import ... well, enough to have most news channels and programs devote the first 20 minutes or so (if not longer) to the story.

dramatic action to save our republic. Half measures to placate the radical Reich will not help.

13. Right. I just do not understand how people can be undecided about the choice between continuing
down a path of increasing world tension, hatred of America along with the trampling of our constitutional rights and returning to the rule of law.

12. She didnt just die. She was assasinated. In a country with nukes. Where Bin Laden
is likely to be living. So yeah, a few people may be aware of Pakistan, and what happens there.

14. It brings terror and fear back into their minds
If you look at the statements from most of the Republicans and some Democrats like Clinton, they know this very well and are trying to exploit it to their advantage.
