Here's the National Enquirer article re John Edwards, garbage that it is.
Edited on Tue Dec-18-07 07:51 PM by jezebel
Source: National Enquirer

The woman linked to Presidential candidate John Edwards in a cheating scandal is more than six months pregnant and telling a close confidante that Edwards is the father of her unborn child, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

snip...

But The ENQUIRER has now confirmed not only that Rielle is pregnant, but she is also living in Chapel Hill, N.C. in a gated community, just a few streets away from Andrew Young, who has been a key official in Edwards' campaign.

Young has been in charge of looking after Hunter, according to sources, and she has been careful to stay out of sight during Edwards' campaign. A former Director of Operations for Edwards' campaign, Young's last official position with the campaign was North Carolina Finance Director.

He left that job about a month ago nearly the same time Rielle relocated from the New Jersey area to Chapel Hill.

In a bizarre twist, Young, a 41-year-old married man with young children, now claims HE is the father of Reille's baby.

But others are skeptical about his claim and talk of a political cover up is heating up.

Reille, when contacted in person by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER, denied that she was Reille Hunter. Later, she hired a lawyer and issued a statement, saying that Young is the father.

Iread about this in the Checkout Line at the Local Krogers.

Some of the other candidates - YES - but not John.

the repukes could have got this woman up to say Edwards is the

15. God, what a story
She looks like she's nine months pregnant already. She moves to Chapel Hill one month ago presumably to give birth in that particular place. The campaign aide leaves the campaign at the same time to look after her, so they say. It's getting like a movie script. What's next, I wonder.

23. There wasn't a very pregnant "mistress"
Who moved from a different state to a short distance from his house one short month ago. That's what's going to make this a real story. If there is no truth to it, Edwards has got to sue right away.

it will be "out there" and no matter how many times it's refuted people will still believe it. What's that saying? A lie will make it halfway around the world before the truth can get it's pants on (Is that right?)

32. Eight or Nine months ago was when John and Elizabeth Edwards
were dealing with Elizabeth's health. I doubt that this story is true.

At a March 22, 2007 press conference,<7> John and Elizabeth Edwards announced that her cancer had returned, and that his campaign for the Presidency was continuing at full steam. They said that she is asymptomatic, and that she expects to continue actively campaigning while undergoing treatment.<8> Her doctor, Dr. Lisa Carey of the University of North Carolina's Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, described the diagnosis as stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer with a spot in her rib and possibly her lung. In a March 25 interview on 60 Minutes, Edwards said that there was also a spot in her hip found on her bone scan.<9> The Edwardses and Dr. Carey stressed that the cancer is not curable, but is treatable.<7><10> As of April 2, 2007 Edwards was informed that her cancer may be treatable with anti-estrogen drugs. "I consider that a good sign. It means there are more medications which I can expect to be responsive," she told the Associated Press during a campaign stop with her husband in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.<11>
