John Edwards has a new TV ad out. It's actually quite good.

It is short, sweet, and dircted toward the middle class. He's sitting in front of a french door and there's a shitload of snowy scenery behind him. He is well lit, but the scene isn't TOO staged, and he doesn't look "picked and scalded" or overly made-up. He looks "regular." His accent isn't TOO cornpony, his message gets across.

Way better than the last ad he had running in heavy rotation, and an ad that a viewer can watch, again and again, and pull a different chunk of the message out of it.

He gets a :thumbsup: for this one--it's as good as the last one was bad!

I dunno if he has it posted on his website--I just saw it on NH tee vee.

1. Hes' got two new ads "Voice" and "Fight" that are well done and powerful.

They're very professional and have very optimistic and powerful messages.

I like both of them, and they're exactly the kind of advertisements he should be running two weeks before the Iowa Caucus.

That's final line of the advertisement. Absolutely powerful and inspiring. He looks very confident and passionate when he says it. Very, very well done.

2. I LOVE It... Very Innovative... Saw It This AM On C-Span! I Don't Think

anyone who sees it can ARGUE that it doesn't make you "feel" very good! The style and approach is pretty over the top, and sweeps you up! I actually felt like I was going to cry, seeing the United States covered like a flag. I've seen it done before, but it made me think of how far we've fallen, and that the America I once knew is GONE for now!
