If Brownback had held on a little bit more,
could it be him surging right now instead of Huckabee? Seems like it just took some time for the large fundie religious base of the Repukes to realize they can't look past the bad stuff about Willard and the Ghoul.

1. I think Brownback is catholic.

I'm not sure the fundies would rally behind him. Especially when there's Huckabee to rally behind.

2. Oh, if that's the case...
then yup, I can see how he would have been left out either way.

4. Is it he or Santorum who is the Catholic **Convert**? I think it's Brownback.

And there is a palpable increase in hostility towards Catholics lately, so Brownback is damaged goods. My theory on the increase in hostility is that, being the original Pro-Lifers, Catholic Pro-Lifers are waking up to the fact that they're not Pro-Life unless they are also anti-War. Whatever coaltions there were between them and Protestants in support of this "Pro-Life" :puke: pResident have ended in active hostility towards Catholics for abandoning her BullShitler. (Which, of course, is being justified on the grounds that the Catholic Priesthood is a bunch of Pedophiles, and God knows there is corruption within the church, but I suspect there's a dual motive at work in these "ecumenical" relationships.)
