My gut feeling is that Nader has been bribed.
When you see someone who is so stubborn about running, it means there is a reason for it beside the usual ones.

By the way, where did he get $3.8 million?

1. Yes, Also Add "...and bribed by whom?"
I will be very curious to see the details of his financing as well. Running as an independent, running against the Green and Democratic nominees...well, I think there's something to be said for MikeG's gut feeling on this one.

The real question here is going to be...bribed by whom?

5. Could be. Somebody at DNC/DLC and Kerry campaign
better figure out what to do about him.

On Sunday afternoons after CNN and MSNBC stop covering politics, I turn to Fox. ONe pundit was all hot to trot to encourage Repugs to send money to Nader.

Ya'll better figure it out! There are a lot of pissed off Dems out there still. *I* won't be voting 3rd party or encouraging anyone else to, but the more I think about the dissatisfaction in the ranks and the lack of appeal of the likely nominee, the more I think Nader might be more of a factor than I first thought.

3. A little investigative journalism could do the trick
If John Kerry is going to be vetted by the media, so should Nader. What about his business dealings? Has he had affairs? Has he practiced what he has preached in real life? The American people have a right to know this stuff.

4. Then again, if he can't be bribed, he is being blackmailed.

How can Nader not like someone who is allegedly to the left of Ted Kennedy?

6. Bribed or not- he'll be raking in that GOP $$$$$...
...of course, its to "get his message out", and "teach Democrats a lesson", so that makes it okay...

7. My gut feeling is that the Democratic Party
had every oppotunity to pick a candidate which would have made sure that Nader didn't run and they couldn't be bothered to do so.

So now we get all this demonisation garbage as a smokesceen for basically another grotty decision, which I have to say I am quite used to by now.

Nader running is not going to make that much difference anyway (I'm guessing).

8. It's just like old times here this is
The Democratic Party screws up, we vote for them or else.
The Democratic Party screws up again, we still vote for them or else.
The Democratic Party takes a dump on us, we vote for them otherwise we get our heads kicked in.

Lets be honest if i lived in the u.s. the only reason I would vote for the Democratic Party is because it is not bush*, there is no other reason.
