Bill Wyatt? Who the Hell is this guy? Is he an ally?
He's a Republican, he's appearing on the GOP ballot in many states, but he seems LEFT of the Greens.

3. Weird...
I don't know what makes him a Republican, but if he's going against Bush in the primaries, he has my vote.

Of course, I don't actually live in any of the states where he's on the ballot...

And if I did, I wouldn't register as a Republican in order to vote for him...

Ah, what the hell-- BILL WYATT FOR PRESIDENT!!!! Woo hoo!

4. I'd support him over Lieberman...
The liberalism and the anti-RIAA just do it for me.

5. I know what you mean
I think there are a lot of guys like him out there. They call themselves Republicans because that's what they've always been, but they are disgusted with Bush. I wouldn't be surprised if they shared a lot of values with the Democrats who are disgusted with the direction the party has been taking. There's room for a new party to be formed out there...

And BILL WYATT'S JUST THE MAN TO DO IT! Woo hoo!

6. I looked at his ideas...
He's left of the Democratic party. He just seems to think he can do more to change things as a Republican.

7. There's more than just "left" and "right" going on here
A lot of the folks who call themselves Republicans out of long habit (or fear instilled by Rush and his ilk) have a lot of "common sense" ideas that we'd call liberal if our noses didn't get shoved in it every time we invoked the "L" word. Looking at his website, his politics is all over the map, but I doubt he himself would ascribe much of it to liberalism.

8. Well...
He may not be Wellstone, Sanders, or even Kucinich, but he's certainly a fair bit left of the DLC.

But let's say he did pull of this "coup" within the GOP, and you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was not all just a front (like, say, that "perfect" town Stalin showed Wallace), would you vote for him over a supporter of the "Patriot" Act?

9. Howdy y'all
I enjoyed reading the thread of messages here. I tracked it back from hits on my website. Especially the part/references to Stalin and Wallace, why I'm not even qualified to be a LaRouche or a Sharpton, yet. Running against Bush in the primary is the simplest way to defeat him, but it is unlikely that I can get enough people to abandon their classical connections to partydom in order to get the job done this time around, but I do plan to have fun trying. The GOP has been successful in keeping me, or anybody, from building a campaign against Bush. Nonetheless I hope I can get into the convention in the fall and make a few statements about this brave new world that I have found myself in. Thanks for the reviews and I'd be glad to answer any questions about my campaign.

thanks for even talking about my campaign on your board.
