"Biden’s showing was the best of the day"
Biden!!!

http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?cate...

Give Thursday’s debate among the Democratic presidential candidates to the second tier candidates, particularly Joe Biden.

Biden, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson turned in some of their best debate performances of the 2008 campaign and were the day's biggest gainers. Biden’s showing was the best of the day.

about the top tier --

The top tier contenders - Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards - all had excellent afternoons. But nothing happened or was said to knock Obama off his stride. Since he leads in the polls in Iowa, the event still leaves him ahead in the contest.

---------------------------------------------------

I was beginning to wonder if anyone watched the same debate as I did.

6. I like Joe Biden a lot
and plan to buy and read his book. The cufflink story someone posted on DU was wonderful.

Joe is my #2 choice.

7. I hope to meet him tomorrow.
He is making a swing through the area. It will be interesting to see how many people attend. I'm hearing more and more people settling on him and I hope it holds. It's amazing what can happen in 3 weeks.

One thing that will stand out is his demeanor compared to the top two who are bickering. I noticed that today during one of his interviews on CNN.

Go, Joe!

9. I hope you get to see him too, and tell him to get some rest!!!
He looked really sick today. He said he had a cold, and I hope he doesn't get too run down and get pneumonia.

12. I thought he looked kind of peak'd. I'll pass on your concern.
I am baking Christmas breads and might take a few loaves for the crew. I'm sure they are sick and tired of restaurant foods and donuts.

15. They all looked really tired today!
I thought Hillary looked the worst.

They had to go to DC to vote on the Farm Bill and then fly back to Iowa.

That could be partly why the energy level seemed to be so low.

but have recently decided that I like Biden. I like them all actually but I want Biden as the nominee. Good to hear he did well.
