I don't put hardly any stake in national polls during primary season, but it's been a while since I've seen one with Dennis Kucinich's numbers, which are on the rise, so I thought I post it.

If you wish Dennis had been included in today's debate, please give this thread a kick to honor his up-turn in the polls despite everything working against his progressive campaign.

1. Dennis should be in the debates. It's just terrible.
I think the other candidates should have demanded he be included.

2. It just breaks my heart. He's got a terrific platform which America needs to hear about even if they
decide against voting for Kucinich.

5. I agree. Dennis was always a catalyst for truth. Keeping him out
is just another example of how the power structure operates. They stuck Alan Keyes into the Repub debate for comic effect. Entertainment first; truth last.

3. HIs numbers are on the rise?
Last week somebody was touting that he was at 4% (the MOE of that poll was +/- 5%)

This poll has him at 3%, with a MOE of +/- 4%

6. Certainly,
one could look at it that way.

I suppose, if the margin of error is +/- 4%, then Kucinich might very well be up to 7%. I haven't seen a poll recently which bracketed Dennis's current support in a way that ranged as high as 7%. I missed the poll you were referring to where Dennis polled at 4%.

I like Dennis because I like his health care plan and a number of other policies he has offered, but I know he isn't going to win (just like Richardson, Biden, Dodd, and Gravel certainly aren't going to win, and among Edwards, Obama, and Hillary, two of those three won't win either).

I'd like to see Kucinich bloom in the polls as an indication that people are embracing his progressive agenda.

And The Big Two will woo hard.

7. You realize it's a national poll, right? If I was a Hillary fan, I'd be sweating her drop in Iowa
and NH.

9. So you think those guys will stay in it till the bitter end?
I think that is what MP was referring to.

Not 2nd choices in caucuses but 2nd choices period.

10. I think Dennis is in the for the long haul. I suspect Dodd, Richardson and Biden won't see February
Edwards may very well outlast Hillary, but who knows?

8. You should note this is a daily tracking poll...
Results are more volatile day to day

11. Actually, the results were from "nightly telephone interviews and reported on a four-day rolling ave
average basis."

A four day poll is about an average span.

13. How many debates has DK not participated in?
I know there was one other in September. And the one today. Others?
