Do we really want another person like Bush in the White House? If she doesn't fire Shaheen after claiming to condemn what he did and that she had no knowledge of it, how is she any better than Bush?

1. who did Obama hold accountable when...
Sen. Obama Blamed His Research Team For Releasing The Memo Calling Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) A Senator From Punjab. "'It was a screw-up on the part of our research team,' Obama, a U.S. senator from Illinois, said during a meeting today with Des Moines Register editors and reporters. 'It wasn't anything I had seen or my senior staff had seen.'" (Thomas Beaumont, "Obama: Campaign's 'Punjab' Remark Was 'Stupid'," The Des Moines Register, 6/18/07)

More than you can say for Hillary, he admits he's ultimately responsible for what goes on in his campaign:

24. More then Hillary. I have yet to see her hold her staffs feet to the fire for their recently loose
and spiteful lips.

Also, Obama's staff has not gone in front of the media to spread lies about another candidate. Hillary's did, and its disgusting that you won't hold her to the same standard.

27. He Said He Was Ultimately Responsible for It
He took the time to say he was ultimately responsible for it.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4155/is_20070619/ai_n19305385

"Although I was not aware of the contents of the memo prior to its distribution, I consider the entire campaign -- and in particular myself -- responsible for the mistake."

Clinton took the time to plot the next vile smear that her campaign can launch in her name.

23. It was the staffer's fault, but he took responsibility for it:
Because what your employees do is ultimately the boss' responsibility in cases like this. He said that at the time, back in June. He said, "Although I was not aware of the contents of the memo prior to its distribution, I consider the entire campaign -- and in particular myself -- responsible for the mistake," in June.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4155/is_20070619/ai_n19305385

What else do you want him to say? It looks like Obama is better at taking responsibility for his actions and admitting mistakes than Clinton is.

I support Obama with part of my rent money. I hope this sacrifice hasn't been for naught. I've gone vegetarian because it's cheaper at the market than meat products.
It's been about 8 mos since I've had a Big Mac, the price has gone up to almost $5 for a hamburger.

This latest rift is scaring the ba-jesus out of me. I hope, I'm wrong about this. Am I wrong banking on Obama as the next president. I don't know what to do now.
