Clinton and Edwards Are Such FOLLOWERS!!
Seriously, they've been following Obama since the beginning of this campaign season. Everything about this being an election about change (which Obama was the first one to talk about) now to the Oprah factor (Edwards and Clinton are bringing celebrities out to speak with them) proves that they're following his every move. It's almost funny how obvious it is too.

4. No, I don't think they're bonkers
Dedication to a candidate is a good thing. Sometimes reality gets lost though.

3. every four years candidates in the opposition party talk about change
Edited on Mon Dec-10-07 03:28 PM by Progress And Change
You can't be serious that Obama was the first to do this? As to substance, how many times has Obama followed Edwards lead?

7. Obama was the first opposition candidate to ever talk about change.
Before him, opposition candidates talked about continuing to build the sitting President's grand legacy.

Obama was also the first candidate to ever get a celebrity endorsement

I hate to burst the bubble but Obama is human just like Clinton and Edwards. May I not be burned at the stake for this blasphemy.

10. This is BS, and you should really know your stuff before posting-
Over the last year, Krugman has written extensively about the 2008 campaign and John Edwards.

After reviewing Krugman's thoughts about Edwards, three themes emerge:

1. On economic issues, John Edwards is the most progressive viable Democrat in the race, showing leadership on universal health care, tax reform, and corporate governance.
2. John Edwards has announced specific policy proposals in each of these areas
3. Edwards' aggressive agenda has forced Hillary Clinton to finally embrace many of his policy initiatives, particularly universal health care

Edwards has always been out front in this election of policy.

But I guess you're a lot smarter than Paul Krugman. Hey maybe KO should have you on the show!

15. Bush Administation:Incomptent. How much competence can we expect from Obama's inexperience?
Not a sizable change. Hillary's Administration would offer the most change.

23. Edwards was the first to be SPECIFIC about his health care plan
Obama and HRC were the followers.

Edwards ran for office in 2004.
Obama and HRC are the followers.

Edwards was the first to run as a candidate for change in 2004.
Years later, Obama and HRC followed.

And actually, Bill Clinton was the first candidate to become known for being associated with big-name celebrities in 1992 (or don't you recall the RW'ers whining incessantly about it?).
MANY years later, Obama followed.

Bill Clinton was the first to go on a talk show and prove his coolness factor by wearing shades and playing the sax on the Arsenio Hall Show.
Obama FOLLOWED, by going on Ellen and trying to prove his coolness factor by dancing with her.

I could go on, but basically...your post has only shown your complete lack of knowledge about recent political history. I know you mean well, but you're embarrassing yourself and your candidate with a post like this. :)

26. There is nothing new under the Democratic sun
You will drive yourself insane just like the other candidates' supporters do if you play the who was first game. They are all Democrats with a Democratic point of view. They are not inventors of anything.
