The OFFICIAL pile on Ghouliani thread!
We need to have one place for all the Rudy stuff. For easy access and so we can keep track of new additions every day.

I think we can all agree, he is by far the most dangerous candidate running on the right. And we need to stop him at all costs.

For my first entry: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-rudy_singaporenov21,1,6418389.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

WASHINGTON - Nine days after registering his presidential exploratory committee last November, Rudolph Giuliani appeared in Singapore to help a Las Vegas developer make a pitch for a $3.5 billion casino resort.

Though the bid ultimately failed, and there was nothing illegal about the involvement, it drew Giuliani into a complex partnership with the family of a controversial Hong Kong billionaire who has ties to the regime of North Korea's Kim Jong Il and has been linked to international organized crime by the U.S. government.

Giuliani's participation as a security consultant in the Singapore gambling venture illustrates the challenge he faces while attempting to win the Republican presidential nomination with a law-and-order message while maintaining a far-flung, international business portfolio, an unknown portion of which remains in the shadows.

As a candidate, Giuliani is banking on his reputation as a hard-nosed prosecutor and a crime-fighting mayor, along with his performance after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, to trump doubts about his turbulent personal life, his tolerant stands on gambling, abortion and other social issues and perhaps some of the decisions he has made as a businessman.

So far, the strategy seems to be working, as Giuliani leads most polls of GOP presidential contenders.

1. Can't stand him
Rudy makes my skin crawl. He is a scummy super arrogant guy that is lying about his record to try and get the republican nomination as a tough guy conservative, when he really was more liberal in his politics earlier. And I don't like his echoing all the Bush rhetoric about 9/11 and all that nonsense, as has been said he really is running a Bush on steroids campaign, which is a scam to try to get the nomination.

5. Obama certainly never kept it secret
He doesn't dodge or prevaricate about it. It's in his first book.
Google shows 1,820,000 mentions of it in media.
So it's kind of a non starter.

4. I don't buy that the Ghoul is the most dangerous opponant out there.
The religious right don't like him at all, and he's too soft on many issues for hard-line conservatives. All he has going for him is 9/11, and even that is going south, now.

Huckabee is the dark horse. He's nuts, but the religious right sees him as one of them, he is solid with mainline conservatism, and he is questioning the war strategy - though not the war itself - and is thus attractive to the war weary among republicans and independents.

If Ghouliani tanks, Huckabee could easily overtake McCain, Romney and the actor.

On the other hand, David Ickes (kooky guy on coast to coast am yesterday) said Hillary and Rudy had the strongest illuminati backing, so they'd be the contenders---and godnoze he's prolly right!

9. Rudy's contributors behind CA election theft initiative
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21926428/

By Michael Cooper and Leslie Wayne

updated 1:14 a.m. PT, Thurs., Nov. 22, 2007
Paul E. Singer is the founding partner of one of the oldest hedge funds around. And while he has become a major donor to Republican and conservative causes in recent years, he has largely managed to stay out of the limelight, even avoiding having his picture appear in newspapers.

But this year Mr. Singer became one of the biggest supporters of Rudolph W. Giuliani’s presidential campaign, making his jet available to Mr. Giuliani, while Mr. Singer and workers at his companies have donated $200,000 to the campaign. And he became the largest individual backer of a California ballot initiative that many Democrats believe could sink their chances of winning the presidency.

Suddenly, the normally low-profile Mr. Singer, a New Yorker, found himself singled out by Democrats intent on beating back the California effort before it gained any steam.
