4. Britney Spears/Hanna Montana!
It'd be a perfect distaff version of what we have now. A drunk, out of control idiot on the top of the ticket (who was a loyal Bush supporter, remember) and a veep who is smart enough to handle a secret identity and manipulate people.

8. I guess I'm going to have to look it up, but WTF is Hanna Montana?
I've been hearing that name over and over the past few months. Is it a Disney show or something?

12. Yea, I looked it up.. It's just the latest lame corporate fad
Created, packaged, marketed, hyped and distributed by the Disney mega-empire. It makes me sick to read that kids actually buy this crap.

13. If I had kids these days there would be NO TV. And strictly limited internet.
My kids would have to spend their time creating games of their own with simple toys - we used to play with our porcelain animals made in Japan (dogs, cats, horses, in sets of 3 or 4 with family groups - and yes we were constantly breaking legs off and Mom patiently reglued them) when we weren't playing with dolls (must admit I had several Barbies). We played in the mud outside and had a tree hospital (sat under the willow tree, repairing damaged twigs) and dressed up in my great-great grandmother's dresses and hats. Hide-and-seek outside in nice weather, cutting out paper dolls, you name it.

I had 3 TV-free years when we lived in Japan and never missed it for one minute. When we came back and lived in upstate NY we still only turned the TV on Friday nights for Star Trek and Sundays in the winter for football.

11. She's a fake pop star invented for marketing's sake...
she's to bubble-gum pop what the Sex Pistols were to punk or The Monkees were to early rock 'n' roll.

15. Ask any 12 year old girl.
And if you aren't diabetic, watch ABC's stuff on Saturday morning and you're likely to see her.
