2. I don't think he's a plant, but I never trusted Trippi.

I know some people like the youtube videos the Edwards' campaign put together regarding Hillary, but I think he's going overboard with it. It look like something the republicans would put together. It could turn off Iowa voters.

4. I think Edwards needs to temper his messages with a balance of ads that

point out issues with the other candidates, as well as his own plans to fix the damage done by the GOP, end the war, provide health care, etc., because he does have very good plans down in writing that I feel he needs to emphasize.

He can further point out the differences between himself and the others by highlighting areas of his plans in comparison to others, and do it in a way where he's just reinforcing his plans are superior without putting down the others.

I just have to laugh when I read many of the posts with people "indignant" over his "negative" and "attacking" statements and ads.

Edwards has spent the better part of the last year to year and half, being positive, informing voters of his views and platforms and being a general upbeat and positive candidate.


And what did it get him??? 3rd place in the most historic primary season in the history of our country. If Obama and Clinton supporters are married to their candidates, Edwards being a milk toast nice guy always bowing and pleasant will just not be heard. Ain't gonna happen. He must take risks in order to be heard, merit alone is not enough. Most people just do not pay attention.
