You must be a couple years older than I am, I was not out of high school at that time but coming right up behind you.

Living in Kansas made it difficult to get to any of those big gatherings but we certainly did our own thing here. I got kicked out of school a couple of times for participating in sit ins and protests. It was fun to a lot of kids so we always had a large number but a few of us who had older brothers and friends who were fighting knew it was far more than that.

We were always busy doing something and always representing our cause somehow.

I wish I saw more of that now. Why do we have to be threatened with death by draft to get younger people involved? (NOT those of you here, gimme a break I am not stoopid)
