Remember when our candidates were asked to raise their hand if they favored impeachment?
I think it was in the first debate, maybe the second. Remember that? And the only one who had the guts to raise his hand was Dennis Kucinich? And the rest of them just squirmed and cowered like little mice as they kept their hands locked at their sides? Remember? I'll never forget the look on all their faces as they glanced around making sure they weren't the only ones who didn't have courage to raise their hand. Well fuck the rest of them if they don't have the guts and decency to do what's right.

Damn it, it's a shame Kucinich can't get the respect he deserves. It's a crying shame because the five candidates polling above him really are second-class politicians compared to him.

1. He's doing the right thing to stop the war.
It has been made abundantly clear it is the only way.

Kudos to Kucinich.

2. Although you're correct that most of them didn't support impeachment (I think
there was one other person who was with Dennis on this), I strongly disagree with your take on the response of the other:

And the rest of them just squirmed and cowered like little mice as they kept their hands locked at their sides? Remember? I'll never forget the look on all their faces as they glanced around making sure they weren't the only ones who didn't have courage to raise their hand.

I think the others felt strongly about their stand and showed courage to be truthful.

THAT BEING SAID, I REALLY hope they're having second thoughts and giving this some serious consideration.

You and I are in agreement on the impeachment issue, I just think your post was a wee bit biased against the other candidates as a result of your heartfelt support of Dennis. :hi:

4. Sorry, but NONE of them supported Kucinch's move to impeach that night, not one of them.
Not even Gravel so I don't know who you're talking about.

5. Yeah, it was probably Gravel that I was thinking about, so I stand corrected. Thanks. nt

6. No problem. You might have been thinking of when Gravel raised his hand on the gun question
When the candidates were asked who owned guns, Mike was one of them who raised his hand.

3. You're right...
I didn't think of it that way. Kucinich does speak the truth...but he is failing to get his message across. I support him and his positions and have donated to his campaign...I just don't think the powers that be would allow him to win.

11. You betcha, sis. No exceptions. Impeachment reigns
Eff 'em all, even the GOP, if they don't back Kucinich on what to me is THE number one domestic priority now, bringing deserved justice to Bush and/or his cronies so we never come close to having to experience anything like this again.

If they don't support impeachment, then they can all share in the guilt forever, bunch of enablers that they are.

12. Dam right. Reality is that he always has been. He's been consistent
throughout the years in what he preaches and he doesn't preach out of both sides of his mouth. We don't have to guess what his message is on anything.

14. and when Kucinich pulled out that pocket Constitution & spoke, I was blown away.
Kucinich spoke brilliantly, as shown once again in the video you posted. I can't understand why this guy doesn't get the respect he deserves. It's like we're living in a bizarro world or something.

15. He does not play the game for the benefit of companies...
Here is one of the MSNBC pages from the recent debates. Although Dennis mentioned impeachment three times, called out the media (big mistake) for not doing their job prior to the invasion of Iraq, said we should cut the military budget and use some of the money for education and has been standing up to this administration since they came into office practically, this is what they write :(

It's almost like being in school where they give a list or pictures and ask you to pick out the one that does not belong, can you spot the candidate that does not belong? :grr:
