Just now on KOB-TV here in Albuquerque.

Stay tuned...

On edit: Domenici, not Dominici...

1. I hope Udall jumps right back in there. A strong candidate might just
turn that into a blue seat in 08, and that would be a good outcome.

5. You and me both!
No links so far. Nothing on KOB's website yet, though I expect it'll be splattered all over the Albuquerque Journal's front page tomorrow a.m.

6. Hi, LandOLincoln. I hope this comes to pass. It would be a really fine
piece of political news to head into the weekend with.

2. We could take New Hampshire, Virginia, Minnesota, and New Mexico.
That's a margin I can live with.

3. I hope it's true. Now if only Kerrey would reconsider running for Hagel's seat.
His decision effectively ended any hope of attaining a 60 seat Democratic majority.

8. This is an old ploy used by party leaders to deter someone from
entering a race until they get there candidate lined up. Who are they trying to keep from jumping into the race? Sometimes it is the retired boxer ploy with a boxer coming back in for another beating. Until he formally announces, it's just a lot of maybe. Sort of like Gore.

9. Say what? Your answer makes no sense to me,
but it's late and I'm tired and a little drunk.

Care to elucidate?

11. Awesome
Udall's my congressman at the moment (I'm still registered in NM). I've met him on multiple occasions and I've grown to really like him. He's definitely a guy I can get behind, and he can easily win at least two districts out of NM's three. I can guarantee he will carry the 3rd and probably the 1st, and can doubtless make a strong showing in the 2nd as well.

12. Yep, I'm really happy he changed his mind.
And just coincidentally (yeah, right) Diane Denish has decided not to go for it, according to KOB-TV just now. Says she wants to stay in New Mexico and work from within to make things better.
