So time is running out.... Honestly, if Obama or Edwards don't make noticeable gains in the early primary states by Thanksgiving, I think it's all she wrote.

Write now if I were to put money on this race, HIllary wins the Iowa caucus by a margin of 5-15 points and then runs away with this thing and pretty much sweeps up like Kerry did in 2004 and Gore did in 2000.

Howard Dean was the front runner and came in 3rd. The caucus is the stupidest method of choosing a President possible. I can't believe the parties haven't put a stop to it. It depends solely on the candidate's team's ability to get their voters out. If it is cold or snowy people don't show. Seniors don't want to sit on kindergarten chairs for hours on end. I was in Iowa in 2004 and attended a caucus.

You say you attended in 2004? Where? It was colder than hell in Des Moines, and there were record turnouts. Even if there hadn't been, do you mean to say cold snowy weather in NH doesn't depress voter turnout to a degree?

My particular caucus was in an elementary school. There were no kindergarten chairs. The caucus was held in the lunch room and there were plenty of seats for adults (probably 40% of whom were seniors), and the presidential part of the night was over in about 90 minutes.
