But I THINK he is trying to say that there has been a lot of people on DU who are acting homophobic, which has upset the GBLT community here. However, the same people who act in homophobic ways are very derisive of the GBLT community saying it IS homophobic.

SO, what the GBLT community should do is just listen to the homophobes when they tell them that it's not homophobic, so that they won't have to get "bent out of shape" unless the homophobe says it's homophobia. That way, they can eliminate stress and just be happy instead of feeling upset by these things.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be sarcasm.

I can't keep it straight as to who is and who isn't - except for the really bad ones. This is not an issue that I take lightly and so I don't have a lot of humor in me for this. GLBT people are being killed and injured on top of their being denied their rights - this is no laughing matter.
