I am watching Richardson on KO...

...and he really sounds good tonight. Matter of fact, this is th best I have heard him sound. Looks good, too.

I sure can see him as Sec of State in the Dem Admin that takes over in Jan 2009. I don't think he has a chance at the nomination, but IMO his talents could be put to good use by the new Dem prez...whomever that may be.

11. There's already a good guy running for that seat

His name is Martin Chavez, he's been the mayor of Albuquerque long enough to have a good track record and he has little affection for either Domenici or Wilson (R-COW).

I'd prefer to see Richardson finish his term as governor. However, if he were offered the SOS job, I'd be delighted to see him take it.
