She said it's a waste of time for democrats to target democrats, she didn't say that protesting the war was a waste of time. Funny how people love to see what they want to see.

will almost certainly be determined by how you view the Democratic strategy vis-a-vis Iraq. If one believes that the Democrats have been capitulating, then they would most likely believe the best course of action would be to target Democrats, which one would assume would be more willing to listen than the Republicans. On the other hand, if one believes the Democrats are doing what they can, but the main problem is the obstruction by Republicans, then the Republicans are better targets for protest. Myself being in the first camp, calling protesting Democrats over Iraq a "waste of time" is little different than calling protesting the war a "waste of time", as that is what I view as the primary form of protest. Similarly, I am sure those that are in the second camp have quite a different view, and indeed see targeting Democrats as a waste of time, as it would probably only embolden Republican obstruction.

In other words, this is just a proxy debate for the whole "capitulation" issue.
