I don't support any candidate but I must say the notion that
any candidate is particularly polarizing is absurd. We could nominate Jesus and the GOP would vilify him and fight him all the way. One doesn't have to be the second coming of Columbo to figure out that the GOP will fight any nominee of ours as dirtily as it can and if we win they will fight dirtier still. I have problems with Hillary but this isn't one of them. The GOP will hate whomever we nominate.

6. The base of the GOP have a "special hate" for Hillary and all things "Clinton"
Fire them up and it's figuratively like tickling a wild bear in the ass.

I hope we don't nominate HRC also for the reason that I don't believe in the recycling of Political Royalty.

But there's no doubt - The GOP can HATE HRC like NO OTHER candidate. To proclaim otherwise is to, IMO, delude oneself.

10. I live in a right wing community ... I'm the only person to the left of John Birch in my extended
family. My entire life I've lived IN or around Military Communities.

I jokingly claim that I married the first fellow Officer who was a liberal democrat. But in many ways it's true albeit 25 plus years of marriage also proves us compatible in a number of areas.

I'm here to tell you from a person who has their hand on the pulse on things "to the right of center" and within Military oriented communities that there is the nurturing of a "special hate" for HRC.

Think "Jane Fonda?" No, HRC has not visited Iran and sat on weapons system, but The HATE is palatable and pervasive.

No, I don't like warmongering women even though I love The Military. The Military should function to keep American's safe not to promote the financial welfare of The Military Industrial Complex.

However, it would be our WORST NIGHTMARE to nominate HRC. The *special hate* for her will not only annihilate her candidacy but our democrats in Congress will pay a high price from her negative coat-tails.

I'm not saying this to fear-monger. The "special hate" for HRC is *VERY real* and it's exponentially stronger than for ANY other presidential candidate.

13. Most military and their families are not political. They did not vote heavily in 2000 nor in 2004.
To say that the hate against Hilliary is palatable and pervasive is not the truth.

14. Maybe not your truth. Everybody is political - publically the military is mum - in the community,
not so.

I've lived in Military Communities most of my life, but if you claim to know better ... whatever. ;)

I disagree, you're saying this to scare people from voting for Senator Clinton. You say it all the time. I do not support her, but will if she wins. She has CA wrapped up

8. Perhaps you missed the hate poured on Kerry and his lovely wife in 2004?
The GOP spent every penny it could muster, legally and illegally, on that hate campaign against Kerry. It will be no different in '08.

9. The hate for Kerry will be nothing compared to what we see if Hillary gets the nod.

12. Wrong. The RNCs 2008 hate campaign will be directly related to the money
legal and illegal

regardless of any other factor

no matter who receives the Democratic nomination

the future of the neoconservative agenda teeters precariously on the 2008 election

corrupt oil companies stand to lose billions in no bid contracts

mercenaries could loose their $1,000.00/day jobs

Alaska could lose its oil payola

And the hate mongering faux christians could be driven to actually read those books they thump
