Would women leave the Democratic Party if Obama, Edwards, Biden, or Richardson is the nominee?
Or any of the other men?

1. Maybe some, but certainly not many.
There are many other fine candidates who are Democratic women, in the wings.

2. Of Course Not!
We want a nation of laws, not of men OR women. It would help if the laws were fair, smart, and consistent with the founding principles of the country. I would have said that women were more likely to make that kind of law, until Hillary came along. She's acting like the hatural heir of Phyllis Schlafly!

5. Why would we?
To think women would be petty enough to desert the party because they didn't run a flawed woman as a candidate is to insult women.

7. Why would we?
Hillary being a woman has zero impact on me as I study all of the candidates.

Kind of insulting to women to suggest they would actually.

17. I think the question was tongue-in-cheek
to point out the absurdity of all of the "men will leave vote Republican if Hillary is the nominee" posts.

9. Well Edwards is prettier than me
and I'm not about to put up with that. :)

Men are intimidated by strong women and that's just a reality. Not one to base votes on, but still a reality.

10. no
I would vote for the PERSON I believe is the best candidate based on their stance on the issues. I don't care what their gender, race, or religion is. Of course, this is based on all the DEMOCRATS running. :)

13. Why would we?
All women aren't voting for Hillary Clinton to be the nominee.

This question is really, well, I won't say.

But I'm afraid you're only allowed to ask such a question if you're talking about a female or black nominee. White male nominees couldn't POSSIBLY drive anyone away from the party because of their sex or race!

18. None that I know.
Well, except my aunt, an 83-year-old Arkansan, and a southern-fried, dyed in the wool, democrat. She told me last year that she absolutely would not vote for Hilary, although she LOVES Bill. When I asked why she said, "I just don't like her." However, I can't imagine her voting for a repug, so we will have to see. I think if Senator Clinton becomes the candidate Auntie will hold her nose and vote a straight democratic ticket.

candidates. I could also flip your question and ask you will men leave the democratic party if a woman is nominated for president?

24. Of course not
First off, they would still have a choice of 2 men. If they were for the Democratic ideas, they would likely prefer the Democratic man to the Republican.
