THE DEVIL CAME ON HORSEBACK exposes the tragedy taking place in Darfur as seen through the eyes of an American witness who has since returned to the U.S. to take action to stop it.

Archbishop Niederaurer, Catholic Diocese; Islamic Networks Yasmine Khan; Rabbi Henry Schreibman; and to be confirmed, leader from Tzu Chi Foundation Buddhist humanitarian group will lead an interfaith service to call for world leaders, the UN General Secretary, and the UN General Assembly to:

Demand that the parties to the conflict in Darfur and eastern Chad halt attacks against civilians and humanitarian agencies;
Ensure and commit to the expeditious and full deployment to Darfur of the joint African Union (AU) and United Nations hybrid peacekeeping force, and ensure that the government of Sudan facilitates this swift and unimpeded deployment.
