Dodd Says He Wants RFK Jr. as his Attorney General
Senator and Presidential candidate Chris Dodd joined Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Mike Papantonio and John Morgan on their Air America show, “Ring of Fire” yesterday afternoon. During the interview with Kennedy, Dodd said he would ask RFK Jr. to be his Attorney General if elected.

Very encouraging to hear that somebody finally threw the frisbee out there. I’ve been eagerly awaiting those words from at least one of the presidential contenders. RFK Jr. would be the obvious choice for AG. There is no one better for the job, in this bloggers’ humble opinion.

WOULD RFK JR. SERVE IN A DODD ADMINISTRATION?

No response from Bobby as to whether or not he would accept. (Hopefully because RFK Jr. may still be considering his own run for the White House in 2008!) But if Kennedy doesn’t run for President, he’d be a natural for AG. Safe to say we’d all love to see him in the position once occupied by his father. He could certainly put the “justice” back in our disgraced so-called “Justice Department.”

If you missed the live show, there will be a re-broadcast on Air America this evening (Check your local affiliate’s schedule for exact times). If you do not have an Air America station in your city, you can download the free Podcast or listen in the archives at the Ring of Fire website. The show can also be heard on XM Satellite radio channel 167. The Dodd interview aired in the third hour of the program.

13. Great idea!
I totally agree, RFK Jr. should just run for President already!

I'm sure he'd find a nice spot in his cabinet for Senator Dodd...:)
