Now on MSNBC's Super Tuesday, with Tim Russert. Terry McAuliffe: "This is Hillary's turn"
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 10:38 AM by flpoljunkie
Representatives from the Clinton, Obama and Edwards' campaigns are being interviewed by Tim Russert. McAuliffe is there for the Clinton campaign, David Axelrod for Obama, and David Bonior for Edwards.

1. Excuse me, but no one gets to be president because it's "their turn"
By that logic, we should all get in line, because our turns will come up eventually. :eyes:

5. Didn't Bob Dole use "it's my turn" or some variant in 1996?
I seem to recall that was the idea behind the campaign, if not the actual slogan...

16. Oh, be quiet. Somehow we "owe" it to her, and you'll just have to accept it.
Nobody knows the trouble she's known, nobody knows her sorrow.

She's rich, famous, loved, she's got powerful friends and even a Grammy, but she's the most put-upon victim since Abel and she's tougher than David. You ingrate! How dare you scorn her pain and deny her her due.

2. 'McAuliffe is there for the Clinton campaign' says it all
Anyway to drive a stake through that man's political endeavors? Didn't we tell the party we had had ENOUGH of him?

Duct tape... I have an idea of something really helpful we could do with all the duct tape.

3. Saw it - are Axelrod and Bonier really the best Obama and Edwards can do?
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 10:28 AM by MethuenProgressive
They were barely articulate, flubbing even their own talking points. Really sad...

4. McAuliffe is nauseating... I remember his "with us or against us" statement
He was at a potential donor fundraiser for Senator Clinton at Haim Saban's place when he spurted out "You are either with us, or you're against us..." An elephant in a glass museum...

12. He was referring to the fact that she has been a dutiful wife and
now it is her turn.

If she had not married Bill Clinton she would have been President long ago. Bill has been a drag on her career.

13. Excuse me but, she's already had her turn.
It is now the turn of a new generation to clean up the incredible mess by Clinton and Bush.

17. Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton is bad for us, bad for America, bad for the world.
As John Edwards said, you don't replace a corporatist Republican with a corporatist Democrat.
