POLL: Hillary lead at 20 points over Obama (44/24), statistically unchanged since last month
Interviews with 1,029 adult Americans conducted by telephone
by Opinion Research Corporation on August 6-8, 2007. The
margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample
is plus or minus 3 percentage points and for results based on
half-samples is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY,AUGUST 9 AT4 PM

2. 11% only! For all the "rah rah" about Gore here on DU,
it doesn't look like he would be the obvious "Hillary alternative" straight away.

I think the trend of polling here at DU clearly indicates people will bolt their current declared candidates and board the S.S. Gore if he throws his hat in the ring. No offense to Obama whom I currently support, but I fall within that data.

On edit: FTR, a Gore/Obama ticket would be sublime.
