North Dakota Democrats are *against* Impeachment???????
Anybody from North Dakota here??? This was reported in Red State, a RightWing website I skim sometimes, to catch a whiff of what they're smoking:

(Quoted from Red State, with no additional comment from me):

Dem Congressman Pomeroy says the President is a clown
(But he decries the "radical partisanship" of the impeach Bush crowd.)
By Mark Kilmer Posted in Democrats — Comments (3) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »

Congressman Earl Pomeroy (D-North Dakota) complained about the "radical partisanship" of the impeachment crowd while saying that, as a Democrat, he "can't stand" the Republican President of the United States, to whom he refers as "this clown."

The Impeachment Freaks are doing their thing on Capitol Hill, harassing Congressman with the "America Wants to Impeach Bush" line. Linked VID IS HERE of two such freaks pressuring poor, hapless Representative Pomeroy. The Congressman is trying to embark on his walking journey through traffic, cell phone in hand, while the girl tells him to IMPEACH BUSH NOW. She yaps about polls, etc.

From North Dakota's Fargo Forum:
Most of the people I represent think that’s (impeachment) a horrible idea. I’m a Democrat, and I can’t stand this president, but I’m to represent the people that I represent and they are against impeaching the president,” Pomeroy said while pointing and waving his arms. …
“I’m here to represent people. The people I represent don’t want to impeach this clown. I’m here to represent the people of North Dakota,” Pomeroy said.

He's their only Representative.

Representative Pomeroy later explained to that paper that he was "a little frustrated with this version of radical partisanship at a time when we’ve got so much work to get done on behalf of the country." Which explains why he called the President of the United States, "this clown," whom he "can't stand." He does have the decency, in his comments to the freaks, to admit that this is because he is a Democrat and the President is a Republican.
There will be no impeachment because the American people don't want it, but the partisanship will continue. This Democratic Congress is nothing if not… er, interesting.

1. North Dakota is pretty conservative, so they're probably telling the truth.

Should they represent their constituents?

2. Those wanting impeachment in ND are not ALL voicing their feelings to him.
Too many are probably just not contacting him.

It also doesn't do any good to be in his face. A softer approach is better but that does not mean being easy on him either.

It would in my opinion be better to work on those that are easier to persuade and when the more fall into the impeach the asshole group then it will be easier for him to join the group.

3. Ed Schultz talked about this. He said he wants to try to do a
ND Statewide poll to find out because he doesn't believe it!

4. And?
You weren't aware we had this large swath of rural states with people who are bit more methodical and stoic about world events?

Change Minds, Change Votes.

If you want impeachment, these are the people you have to reach. Well, if you want single payer health care, defunding the war, free education, any of that - these are the people you have to reach. And we don't have a plan to do it.
