I"m personally ignoring posters who seem to ONLY post threads about their own candidates and attack the opposing candidates. Not that I dont' think they have a right to do so, but in the last month or so, I see no new ground covered, just a lot of people sticking fingers in their ears going "nananananananana".

Those who seem to be on a mission to bash one or more candidates in every thread. They don't even always try to promote their own choice in the process (not that that makes it any better), they just seem to have a hate-on that they just can't suppress. It doesn't even annoy me anymore (much), because I no longer take them seriously.

I do hope that no one gets turned off from any candidate because of the obnoxious behavior of some of their supporters. One has nothing to do with the other.

2004 was much worse than now. We see the same old crap, but I don't think there is as much intensity. I think it's because there is not so much at stake (or at least perceived to be). Now there is a high expectation of Democratic victories in the WH and Congress. The worst case scenario is not as bad as what actually happened in 2004.

I also think a lot of us, like myself, have not latched on to a candidate yet. We either don't have a fave, or he's not yet in the race.

It is fun when some can see what you see in a possible candidate! I jump on a Clark post immediately since I so admire the guy and think he knows what he is talking about. Biden is so low on the totem pole it is almost embarrassing to admit that I like him. So glad there is DU to get all the opinions, so there. We need input on all of them. I like Obama but feel he lacks experience. Hillary must show me that she can step over the tried and true campaign speech and speak her real mind. Same with Edwards, a bit of a one note Johnnie. That is unrealistic since they must speak to millions and not just one segment of society. But the repubs have done the one note strategy so long (terror and security) that no one believes them anymore. Can't fall into the trap of "there is no difference between the parties." I think Reid has proven there is a big difference between the parties, we can hope.

that I intend to bounce around in my mind all their claims and want an open mind since anyone of them could end up being my president. We all have those we lean heavily toward and some that we are hesitant about. But, I'll take any that are in the running knowing it will All Be Good.

Now, at the moment ol' hair plug, voted for the bkcy bill Biden has impressed me. He sure lets you know where he is coming from. So right on the war, education, health. To me he has charisma. That is really important due to the business of a president to convince people he knows what he is talking about. Of course Pres. Clinton had that. No, he didn't get everything right but, more often right than wrong. Saw Biden this a.m. on Senate floor making a speech and he was inspiring.

I would prefer to see fewer people talking about how much Edwards, Obama, and especially Clinton suck, though.
