Rightwing blog complains about ABC interviewing Dems but not Repubs.
On Monday’s "Good Morning America," ABC devoted 38 minutes of air time to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards in a town hall special. This is in addition to the over 26 minutes they provided fellow ‘08 contender Hillary Clinton back in March. That’s a grand total of 64 minutes of publicity for Democratic candidates and zero for Republicans.

GMA must address this fundamental problem: Their 2008 "town hall" segment kicked off nearly four months ago and they have yet to feature a single Republican. Is Mitt Romney not interested? Would Senator John McCain, whose White House bid is low on cash, turn down free air time? If ABC is truly interested in a balanced look at campaign ‘08, the network needs to answer this objection.

Ya know, if only there was a system in place, a law of some kind, that forced ABC to be fair!

1. Okay, fine.
ABC Interviewer: So how would you do things differently than George W. Bush?"

Republican Interviewee: "Lie, lie, equivocation, lie, lie, insult Democrats, lie, lie, equivocation, lie, lie, insane statement, lie, lie, insult Democrats, lie, lie, insult some other country, lie, lie, equivocation."

Viewer: "Haven't we seen this before?"

3. Did anyone SEE GMA? I don't watch it, but I have to believe there's
some reason this happened. The LAST THING I've seen in a VERY LONG TIME is any MSN favoring the DEMS!

For the last 6-12 years, I've been disgusted with every interview being a PUB and the MSN excuse was that they controlled Congress and it's SOP to interview Committ Chairs, House & Senate Maj. leaders, and of course SHRUB! It is partly true that the Dems are getting more coverage since they took the Maj. but I REALLY haven't seen slanted 08 coverage!

5. Seeing them complain about this is maddening.
I happen to think the "Fairness" Doctrine is a bad idea, but leave it to the biggest group of hypocrites to slam it and then bitch about lack of equal time. Fucking dicks.

6. Yeah, a real shame that we don't have a Fairness Doctrine.
But we don't. So, I guess the GOP will just have to suffer. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
