Rice Lays Groundwork for Calif. Return

By SCOTT LINDLAW, Associated Press Writer

Friday, May 25, 2007

(05-25) 01:42 PDT Menlo Park, Calif. (AP) --

Officially, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice brought Australia's top
diplomat to California to thank a valued ally with a hometown tour.

Unofficially, Rice was laying the groundwork for her return to the San
Francisco Bay Area when the Bush administration ends.

Teaching at Stanford University, a book project and volunteering at an
education center she started here are all part of the plan, she said.

"My future plans are to get back to California as fast as possible,"
Rice told a classroom full of school children in this city near Stanford.
Rice began teaching political science at Stanford in 1981 and was
Stanford's provost from 1992-99.

5. I do not blame her. I would have loved to live in that city.
I had such plans to go to college in Calif. but my father had other plans. I lived in the days we were better at hearing our father's I guess. To old to be a flower child and just go. I envy her.

6. Screw that.
She should be picking out drapes for her cell in Gitmo.

Hold these criminals accountable. I don't want to hear about her goddamn cushy life after peddling death for the white house.
