This vote might nudge Jeb into the race
WHile Americans might have Bush Fatigue, it's crystal clear that the ruling class (Congress and the media in particular) still bows to whatever Too Stupid To Be President wants. Our elections are a sham, and Dem turnout will be very low next year. I personally think he will get in and probably win. Get ready for 8 more years of the same stuff.

1. Over my dead body....I refuse to leave this mess to my
children and grandchildren without a fight. We cannot tolerate eight more years of this.

2. AS you might have noticed today, we don't have much say in the matter.

3. I agree w/u Snappy, but w/the self-appointed power that *
has granted himself, we may never get rid of the BFEE w/o spilling our blood in the streets. I can just hear Pickles saying: "let them eat cake!" We're in for dark days ahead, I fear.

5. I fear dark day s ahead but we must not become complacent as
that would just give credence to the political heathens.

6. TOJ, put down the bong and step away slowly....

We have a dipshit president that 78% of the nation can NOT stand. If you listened to his rose garden spiel today, you'd realize the crazy little man is literally out of his mind.

I was blown away at Tucker Carlson's comment's today. He said he was so embarrassed and disgusted at Bush's comments that he actually said he'd like to see the pathetic little weasle IMPEACHED.

Oh, and by the way. The "Dem turnout" will NOT be low next year.

Get a GRIP ---->

*** The nation is overwhelmingly more enthusiastic about a Democratic president in 2008 than a Republican. ***

So no. Your prediction will not come to light.

The chubby brother in Flordia who knows how to run a hurricane, but can't even keep his felon daughter out of trouble.. will not be a candidate.

Shame on you TOJ. Into the penalty box for you!

8. Since I deeply respect all of your thoughts, Larissa, I will spare you
my usual skewering. I would also ask you what it was that Fucker Carlson found so offensive. I cannot stand to listen to either him or Smirk, but since Carlson has had a sever man-crush on * for years his sudden epiphany must either be a hoax (likely) or his attempt to appear balanced since the Dems were taking enough of a pounding today already.

However, with all that being said, wrt John Ellis Bush, it wasn't that long ago that another stupid right-wing loser with no parenting skills was adopted by the media and rammed down our throats. PLEASE don't make the mistake of thinking it won't happen again.

Finally, of all the DUers, you're the one I'd most like to get in a slap fight with.

Keep up the good fight.

Me and TOJ in a slapdown!

Hey, please don't put me on your "DU'ers to be skewed" list! We've been buds way too long for that. Besides, we're both puck heads!

I only caught part of Tucker Carlson today. Usually, if I happen to be home when he comes on, I hit the button and change it to CNN or something. But when I heard Tucker start his show by bitching and moaning about Bush, I sat there frozen with the channel changer in my hand and actually watched the segment.

It was amazing that someone in the media FINALLY said that Bush was a totally whacked out, batshit crazy lunatic when he spoke (yelled/whined) in the Rose Garden today! Especially after Tweety Matthews came on with his usual b.s. description, saying something about Bush being "forceful"

Sure thing Tweets.

Tucker said that Bush's tone was arrogant; that the way he said things like "the terrorists will follow us over here if we don't fight 'em over there" was really starting to get old. He also made a comment about how Mr. Bush always seems to forget something really important --- that HE IS THE CAUSE OF ALL OF THIS!!!

He had a Democratic strategist on, along with former Governor George Pataki. After Bush's comment about impeachment, Pataki shook his head in a "I hear ya" kind of way and agreed with him about how frustrating this is.

Any hoo. No way on Jeb. Tain't gonna happen.

So who's going to lift the holy grail this year anyway? My guess is Ottawa in 5. Maybe 6..

they finally headed into the playoffs NOT as the favorites, and here they are. I have mixed emotions. It would be nice for the Cup to return to Canada, and nice to watch Teemu Selane skate around with it.

'twill be fun to watch.

Edit: Of course NEXT year, the Blackhawks will be in the thick of things.

You are Larissa A from rawstory, am I right?

9. It won't happen
Jeb is smart enough to know that the country likely wouldn't elect a brother of popular president at the end of that president's term, let alone the brother of an unpopular one.

10. He would run as VP for Romney
and the red states will be stupid enough to vote for him, cuz bush still has high popularity among the registered republicans. His slogan will be that he is different than W, but has the experience to govern in difficult times.

12. Jeb on local FL. channel WESH
Looking very trim and relaxed during interview said, he was not interested in getting into politics, but will find another way to make use of his experience. I doubt we can take him at his word, but was amazed at the change in his apearance. Maybe he has had a bellyfull of politics. one can only hope the family just fades away.
