3. You just posted that at 9:53 am
That followed the same report by WyldWolf at 9:27am.

You guys are really working this one, aren't you?

Duplicate posting is a violation of the rules. Please, don't do that again.

4. This poll has been posted in probably a dozen threads by Hillary supporters over the past few days.
What a bore. Besides it's an online poll, which are *not to be trusted*.

10. It also included Gore, who got 13%. Why do they include someone not running?

I know life must really suck for some right now the vitriol has all been in vain so far.

BTW I had not realized it was the same poll. She is doing well in so many, it's hard to keep track of them.

I don't really care which candidate you're duplicate posting for, it is a rules violation.

That repeatedly posted threads on the Ari Berman hit piece on Hillary in the Nation yesterday...cause the rules are what you are concerned about...right?

I might have, if I did.

Doesn't justify the tag-team game you guys are playing. You're too -transparent- obvious in your methods. You should at least wait until the last identical post has scrolled off.

8. Any poll that includes someone who isn't even running is invalid
Please note they have included Gore who received 13% of the vote. Where would those votes go if this were reality?

Also John Edwards, who admitted he screwed up on the IWR, which candidate would his votes go to if he didn't improve?

I suggest the whole thing is a joke until we get closer to the primaries and reality

24. Without Gore more to Clinton than others
According to this:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/5/19/194352/968

Averages:

With Gore:

Clinton: 36.5%
Obama: 22.75
Gore: 12.25
Edwards: 12
Richardson: 3.25

Clinton-Obama Margin: 13.75
Also, Obama+Gore = 35%

Without Gore (with shifts in parentheses):

Clinton: 41.25% (+4.75)
Obama: 25.5 (+2.75)
Edwards: 14 (+2)
Richardson: 3.75 (+0.5)
Clinton-Obama Margin: 15.75

17. I seem to rememer...
I seem to remember Howard Dean polling really well before the first primaries. Like right up until the first primaries. But Iowa decided they wanted John Kerry. And New Hampshire agreed. And after that it was a done deal.

We're still nearly two years out people. Polls are meaningless at this point. Especially nationwide polls. Our electoral process is completely screwy in that it gives an inordinate amount of the choice to a couple of otherwise pretty insignificant states, so national polls are even more worthless. So if you want to look at polls this early out, you'd better weight the hell out of Iowa and New Hampshire.

There's still plenty of time for some sort of sane outcome to the primary. It's always darkest before the dawn, I say.

Edwards is still in the lead in Iowa. He is at least plausible. Of the two rationally unjustified candidacies (Hillary of the "name I got by marriage" and Obama of the "hype") I would take Obama immediately. But in both cases, I would assume a Democratic loss in '08.

Hillary has no business in the race at all as everyone knows. I weep for my party that she was ever even considered as a candidate. Being married to Bill (a good president as it goes) should have disqualified Hillary. It is unethical for her to run. She has seen over these last six years what happens when America elects a president based on the candidate's family name. "If George W. Bush can get into the White House that way, why not me?" she seems to be asking.

Unethical. And why not Jeb next? (Unethical, but that is not a concern in his party.) Let's just keep electing presidents based on nothing.

Hillary is a big, big disappointment. I wish she had lost in her 2000 Senate race.
