Man on Ky. Gov. 'Hit List' Gets Job Back

The Associated Press
Friday, May 11, 2007; 11:23 PM

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- A former state employee who claimed he was
fired for supporting Republican Gov. Ernie Fletcher's 2003 campaign
rival can have his job back, the state personnel board said Friday.

Mike Duncan, a former deputy inspector general of the Kentucky
Transportation Cabinet, must be reinstated to the same or a similar
position, the board said.

"They terminated him because of politics," said Duncan's attorney,
Paul Fauri. "It's clear, plain and simple."

Duncan's 2005 firing was part of an investigation by a special grand
jury that looked into the personnel practices of the Fletcher
administration. Duncan's name was on a "hit list" of state workers
that included information about their political affiliation and
campaign contributions.

1. Wonderful news! The best. Fletcher appeared to think he could pull it off without a challenge.
We've read about this crap in national news while he went absolutely ape throwing out Democrats at the state worker level throughout his administration.

Fletcher is one nasty, ugly, typically underhanded Republican. He should have to be forced to watch every single one of these Democrats returned to his/her position in the very same way.
