Clinton up 21 points in California
Sen. Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Barack Obama (48% to 27%) in a statewide primary; former Sen. John Edwards trails at 15%.

1. Wow! That's a huge discrepancy given close polls elsewhere...
what do you think explains the huge lead in CA?

3. I'd say the DLC and Big Money: Remember,
What Josef Stalin said about votes, can also ring true about these "cute polls" (little chance of discovering that be they were tampered with):

"Those who count the votes decide everything."

The Big Corporations benefit if either HRC or a republican wins the WH in 2008.

Also ask yourself - after the mean-spirited put downs (left wing truthiness?!?) IF there's a chance in hell that even if they are able to convince the American People that HRC has already been anointed as our beloved Democratic Nominee ... do you HONESTLY think that she will win the General Election?

IMO, supporting HRC is benefiting BOTH big business (DLC will see to that) and the Military Industrial Complex.

Funny how anytime things don't go the left's way, they blame everything but themselves.

5. LOL. Polls are now suspect.

But I thought it didn't matter if Hillary or a Pub won? And polls are tampered with? And Hillary already been annointed?

6. That support network makes sense in terms of financial contributors...
but I don't think it explains an automated phone poll. Anyway, good for Hillary. It still seems a bit odd to me, though.

8. Both Clintons and Gore are extremely popular here.
Obama was impressive at the CA Dem convention but that's pretty much just hardcore Democrats.

The last Field poll showed a bit closer race but it was taken right around the time Obama's fundraising coup came to press.

13. Right on. I'll be curious to see if polls in other states follow this trend...
that is, a widening gap between Obama and Hillary after a previous narrowing.

For the record, I tentatively lean Obama, but I like all the Dem. candidates to one extent or another.
