Hollywood supporters of Giuliani; of Obama.
Rudy Giuliani

"(Adam) Sandler, who shares a love of the New York Yankees with Giuliani and tapped him for a cameo in his 2003 movie "Anger Management," contributed $2,100. "Frasier" star (Kelsey) Grammer and his wife donated $6,900. Mark Vahradian, who produced "Annapolis" for Paramount, gave $2,100. Writer-producer Lionel Chetwynd, an Oscar nominee for co-writing 1974's "The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz," gave more than $4,200."

Barack Obama

"Obama has gotten checks from Tom Hanks, Tobey Maguire, Eddie Murphy, Edward Norton Jr., Morgan Freeman and Ben Stiller, among others. In February, he held a closed-door fundraiser arranged by DreamWorks studio founders Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen."

4. If Adam Sandler really donated to Rudy Giuliani because...
...they both like the Yankees, then hopefully he won't donate to a lot of other Republicans.

8. On Newsmeat, Giuliani is the only politician he has donated to.
Ever. Seems like a lot of rich people who don't really pay attention to politics vote Republican. They see a bumper sticker, they vote, they get back to whatever they do.

2. I'd heard before Sandler was a right-winger.

Funny, those I find rather boring to watch usually turn out to be wing-nuts. Same with grammar, patricia heaton and gary sinise. I don't dislike them because of their politics, but isn't it funny how conservatives lack interest? Their shallowness is so transparent.

5. Kelsey Grammar is a good actor,
...even if he has bad taste in political parties.

He was good on "Cheers," "Frasier" and "The Simpsons" (Sideshow Bob.)

7. I agree, he's a talented tv actor, and has done stage shows.
He's even a decent singer.

Still, there's a big step up in talent to Tom Hanks, Steven Speilberg, Tobey MaGuire, Edward R Norton...

11. Bleh. I can't stand Frasier. And I never liked Sideshow Bob, even before I knew who Grammar was.
Cheers was enjoyable, but that was a much bigger cast and the show didn't always revolve around him.

Now..I'm not fucking around with these guys anymore, I don't care how talented they are. It's my country and my Planet, too, and they're a drag on it.
