Most of you must have read an
AP article that gives the impression that a poll was conducted asking Iraqis about their thought about withdrawing US troops from Iraq.
But surprise surprise, it was just the instinctive guess of one AP reporter named SAMEER N. YACOUB. H mentioned a "grocery store owner" who is a Shia and who had doubuts about withdrawal.
He goes on to say,
Majority Shiites and their Kurdish allies, meanwhile, echoed the opinion of the Shiite-led government, which warned the Oct. 1 start date was too soon.A majority of who? What's the sample gathered by Yacoub? Did he conduct a poll that yielded different results as the State Department poll conducted in '06 that showed that a majority of both Sunni and Shia wanted us out of Iraq ASAP?
One BBC poll had four "remain" questions and two "leave" questions, so we must discard that one as flawed and biased.
