Poll question: If the Kerry - intern story turns out to be true, who will you support?
Which candidate will you support if it turns out that Kerry had an affair with an intern during his campaign for the Democratic nomination?

3. The GOP is fighting the last war with this
The public is not interested in this crap as much as they care about the economy and national defense. This crap is *so* 1998.

4. I held it against Arnold
so I'm not gonna be a hypocrite. If it is true and it occurred while married, I'd hold it against him. Being cheated on is so hurtful that I cannot respect anyone who cheats on their significant other. If someone wants to play the field, that's great. But when it's behind the back of a spouse...I'm sorry I think the President should be a role model.

It a trust issue and this country is now in a trust crisis with our current pResident. Bush's lies are being outed fast and furiously and the country is going to need someone totally trustworthy to rally behind.

8. Why are people voting Kerry?
I mean, isn't anything sacred anymore? Holy crap, it's one thing to actually be the president and you know, go a little overboard, and lie a bit, it's another thing to campaign and screw around with your wife behind the scenes and make the person you screwed around with stay hushed. I mean, that's just dispicable.

It's not like Clinton told Lewinsky to keep her mouth shut and sent her out of the country ala these alligations. He wasn't trying to cover it up except to deny it, that's all. It's one thing to deny something you did, it's another thing to take active steps to cover that something up.

9. Edwards

I voted for Edwards, but he has always been my favorite.

By the way, I tuned into Hate Radio earlier and Sean Hannitty was chortling away like the idiot he is. He said that it's always the Democrats who do these things.

When a caller asked him if Gingrich, Livingstone, etc were Democrats, Hannitty refused to answer him and shouted him down.

Matt Drudge came on and said the story was planted by Clark so Hillary could get the nomination.

Those guys are the lower form of scum on the Earth.

10. Still going to support Kerry. What has it to do with anything?
I didn't care when Clinton did it, wouldn't care if the Chimp did it and don't care if Kerry did. It's a non-issue in my opinion.

14. I Didn't Vote, But...
...can I point out the possibility that the Kerry camp might have let this get out in order to gain a sympathy edge?

I mean, we hear people say all the time: "if he just admits what happened, what's the harm?" Then people support him anyway. In fact, he might even get MORE support than he otherwise would have.

It worked for Clinton.

It even worked for Schwarzenegger.

It COULD work for the squatter in chief if he were only smart enough to own up to that AWOL charge...

Just throwin' it out there....

8. If you make a highly questionable and inflammatory factual assertion about a candidate, you must provide a link to a reputable source to back up your claim. Rumor-mongering is not allowed. Allegedly "innocent" questions which are actually an underhanded effort to spread rumors are not allowed. If you
really need to know the answer to your question, try Google.
