California Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman, chairman of the House of Representatives' government oversight committee, has said he is concerned White House officials might have violated the Presidential Records Act and that he is particularly concerned about Rove, a frequent target of Democratic attacks.

Not "Rove, longterm political adviser to President Bush."

Not "Rove, who's been involved in past White House scandals."

But "Rove, a frequent target of Democratic attacks," poor baby.

And the article goes on to say that this particular matter of partisan tricks and apparent obfuscation reflect on Bush just this way: "It all adds up to another headache for Bush..." Pooooor Chimpy.
