trip to the MidEast?

I would think that Hillary is fuming. That it should be her doing what Nancy is doing. Nancy is stealing her thunder.

Has Hillary made any statements about Nancy's trip?

1. Why single out Hillary?
What do all of the Democratic primary contenders have to say?

Oh, wait. I forgot. The other primary contenders don't get singled out for this type of thing. Only Hillary.

14. It just seems,
Hillary is in all of our faces all the time and she is a woman like Pelosi,(well, no, NOT like Madame Speaker) so maybe that's why.

2. How is Pelosi stealing her thunder?
Pelosi is Madame Speaker, not Senator Clinton. Clinton knows that.

9. Judging By The Comments Here On DU ......
it appears that more people support Pelosi versus Hillary. The only reason I singled out Hillary in my original post is that both Hillary and Pelosi are strong women.

Hillary appears to be having a bad week. Her numbers are down in New Hampshire and I believe Iowa. Both Edwards and Obama appear to be gaining ground on her.

She did raise a lot of $'s - and then today - we have Obama coming out today with his big numbers.

And then we have Nancy gaining kudos for her trip to the MidEast.

Just look at a couple of posts after this one. It was a poll as to who would be the first woman president. Well last I looked Nancy has 83% vs Hillary's 17%.

I'm just thinking - if I were Hillary - whom we all know has had her sights set on the WH since she threw her hat in the NY Senate race (and probably before that)- I'd be pissed now.

I'm just curious as to how she is handling all this.

Sorry if I offended anyone - but I did broach my post with saying - Not To Start Trouble Here.

19. Starting this thread with "Not to start trouble here" is like saying, "With all due respect..."
...you're an idiot."

24. Thank You - Yes - I Am An Idiot - Obviously I Touched A Nerve Here That I Shouldn't Have.....
I'm truly sorry. I thought that human nature being what it is that there might be some jealousy between Hillary and Nancy.

In fact - just to show everyone just how sorry I am for opening this post - in good faith I went to this poll

(Link: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=3197938)

and voted for Hillary.

Maybe you all should DU this DU poll.

21. Obama and Edwards are both "strong" men, no?
Maybe Edwards will challenge Obama to a longest dick contest tomorrow.

:sarcasm:

Maybe when we all grow up, we can view our Democratic candidates as competent legislators instead of "fuzzy" terms like "strong women".

25. I Guess I Have To Take Sensitivity Coaching - I Really Didn't Know That ......
saying 'strong women' in relation to Hillary and Nancy was equivalent to saying that Barack Obama is 'articulate'.

This has been duly noted - it won't happen again from me. Sorry.

3. Good Question
Edited on Wed Apr-04-07 03:21 PM by DCKit
It would be interesting to hear, but I doubt HillDog would criticize it. Remember, Nancy isn't running.

Forgot to add:

One of the first and best things I ever learned about being a good manager was giving credit where credit is due. A winning team makes every member look good. I believe Hillary knows this.

8. One would hope so!
Everyone should support Pelosi's efforts! We've had a long, hard battle to get her and the rest of the Dems in Congress! But the job hasn't ended... we still need to support them all!

This is really reminding me of the CA governor's race... all the rubbish that comes out for the primary will be used against us come the election! And we fall for it every time.

12. I doubt it
Pelosi's trip is a House fact finding mission to the Middle East, entirely appropriate and has nothing whatsoever to do with Hillary Clinton.

If Clinton wants to, she can do the same thing for the Senate.

22. I'm sure she is steaming.
She wants no diplomacy to happen in the ME and she's probably very angry that the hostages got released because she wants perpetual war. She's a very jealous women and very insecure with other female Democratic leaders. And, even worse, she's DLC, too!

I still think she had Vince Foster suicided.
