1. Thanks--to aid comparison, here are the 1Q 07 totals:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070401/ap_on_el_pr/campaign_money

(maybe the story will be updated later)

Clinton - $26 MM plus $10 MM transferred from Senate campaign
Edwards - will release #s later today
Obama - has yet to reveal his totals
Richardson = $6 MM

"Edwards reported raising more than $3 million on the Internet and appeared well on his way to passing the $7.4 million first-quarter fundraising mark he set in his 2003-04 presidential campaign.

No Republican presidential candidates had released fundraising totals Sunday."

pre- 2000:
"Republican Phil Gramm of Texas and Democrat
Al Gore of Tennessee hold the records for first-quarter receipts: $8.7 million for Gramm in 1995 and $8.9 million for Gore in 1999. Gramm dropped out before New Hampshire held the 1996 election's first primary."

4. Hi, Kerry2008, the story on Yahoo didn't say anything about him
Edited on Sun Apr-01-07 04:19 PM by spooky3
but if you have a link to another story with his #s, it would be good to have it.

on edit, it just asys:

"The rest of the Democratic field and the Republican presidential candidates planned to announce their first-quarter totals over the next few days. The fundraising deadline for the January through March period was Saturday, with financial reports due April 15."

5. If people don't get that Hillary wants to buy her way into the White House, well...
they'll get what they are owed--a woman who is bought by the corporate interests of this country. How different is that from Bush?
