Monica Goodling was the Director of Public Affairs for the United States Department of Justice, serving under Attorneys General John Ashcroft, and Alberto Gonzales.

She graduated from Messiah College (private Christian college) and then Regent University (founded by Pat Robertson) Law School in 1999<2>.

She was involved in the Bush administration U.S. attorney firings controversy, and on March 19, 2007, took an indefinite leave of absence.<3>

5. Shock and Awe

I am in shock over the many years of planning and execution of those plans that the Xtion right has been accomplishing in the fascist takeover of our country. I am in awe of their patience and unrelenting progress toward their goals.
We call Bush and his admin "dumb" and "incompetent" at our own peril. We just have not quite figured out what the goal of this admin is, or find it too abhorrent to even contemplate.
If, it was to drain the Treasury and give it to the rich, this admin is well on the way to accomplishing what Reagan set in motion. That is not being incompetent and one need not be a tinfoil hatter to figure this one out.
The Xtion right, which, of course, is neither, has penetrated every aspect of life in our country.
I would dearly love to see an in depth discussion on this board, with facts, of course, on the real goal of the Bush Admin and his fundie groupies.
After 6 years of this putrid partnership, why do we have trouble admitting that this hydra has totally outflanked us all. They did it with patience, indepth planning, a clear and concise black and white goal. They have put us in the position of playing whacka mole and we are not doing it well.
