don't get me wrong. i love the dixie chicks and think natalie maines is a true patriot and hero.

but....

i just ran across this guy on myspace and listened to a couple of his songs and i'm wondering how many times secret service has paid a visit to him. seriously.

here's his myspace profile:

3. Still doesn't hold a candle to Ministry.
For all out venom against Bush, "Rio Grande Blood" is as good as it gets.

5. another chicago band
i wish the dem country artists (other than the dixie chicks, who seem to be the only texas band with guts) would grow some spines and start showing a little dissent.

11. I first saw them live back in the mid-80s
when they changed from their dark, synth/dance sound to their current industrial/thrash/angry/distorted sound.

You can listen to snippest of Rio Grande Blood on iTunes. It's a great CD if you like that kind of music--like I do!!

12. Bet I'm older!
I'm pretty sure I was the oldest one there. And I certainly was the only one in the mosh pit (got dragged into it, but I can hold my own) with gray hair!
