'Sharp Politico' or 'Flip Flopper'?

The ability exists for every politician to be able to see the pros and cons of a given issue, take a stand AND later change his/her mind on that issue because of new information.

Does this ability make the individual a “sharp politico” or a “flip flopper”? (Situations do alter circumstances or is it the other way around?) Anyway, I’m thinking of Kerry and the Swift Boaters charges in the last election.

With world events changing every day, as they are, I can see this situation arising for almost every candidate in the ’08 election.

3. Any new info on any subject - in general - news changes every day.
I think one of the problems with Many DUers is that they want specifics on every topic. Use your imagination if you have one!!! Like the fucking WMDs never existed but I thought they were a possibility at the beginning of the Iraq War. Didn't you????

2. No one has 100% foresight
You make decision based on information you have. The decision may turn out to be wrong, but that doesn't mean you made a mistake as long as the process you arrived at your decision is sound. It is a game of probability and you always choose the path that has the highest probability of being right. Some people can't understand that. They demand a sure thing, but there is no such thing as a sure thing in real life.

...the latter, all Democrats.

You musn't watch much cable TV, or read a major daily newspaper.

You are one them. I can't afford cable and I only take one area newspaper SOOO - I get all my info on the 5:30 news; the Internet or DU!!!

I don't think that was such an easy question. Look at how you guys are all over Hillary Clinton because she changed her mind about the Iraq War.
