1. Address Sen. Obama
leave out the part about "any halfway intelligent staffer reading this"

Also - use your real name! :)

3. Oh, yeah, I took my real name out when I pasted it to my DU post.
So, "halfway intelligent" is too far?

2. turn down the flames baby
if you:

lose Listen:

lose halfway intelligent

lose idiotic consutants (typo there anyway)

Your anger still registers and your message is more likely to get read. Otherwise I don't think anyone will get past the salutation. I almost didn't. But I'm here to help :)

5. How about this:
Dear Sen. Obama and any staffer reading this: Please stop falling into traps, such as apologizing to people who will never vote for a Democrat! You were absolutely correct to say that lives lost in Iraq are a waste, and you had no reason to apologize. Fire whichever consultant told you to correct yourself publicly. If anything, you should have come out even stronger with the same sentiment!

Listen: I voted for you as my Senator. I am already your constituent. I will not vote for you in the primary if follow consultants' advice that compromises your instincts.

By the way, if someone could please email me to say that this message was received, I will happily donate. If not, I will assume that my opinion does not matter, and neither does my money or vote.

Love,
